Appearance[]

Craig Dylan is a caucasian male standing at 6 ft tall. A result of being a previous United States navy SEAL, Dylan has a visibly muscular and fit build. Dylan's attire consists of grey cargo pants and a green T-shirt. A leather holster is present on his torso that holds a pistol and a combat knife on the front.

Role in the Storyline[]

Craig Dylan is an ex-navy seal who co-founded the private military company, Aconite Security, with fellow ex-navy SEAL and close friend Armando "Rock" Depiedra. In 2011 Aconite Security was contracted by Sabrina Sayrus to assist the second Sayrus expedition. Dylan along with Rock and their pilot, Monty, were sent. During the expedition vortex storms in the area damaged their aircraft, causing all aboard to flee from the aircraft. All members now find themselves sent back in time on an island inhabited by dinosaurs set in the cretaceous period. During Dylan's time on the island, he makes contact with Rock and is guided towards the campsite made by Dr. James Sayrus. Dylans finds that Rock and Dr Sayrus are several years aged, revealing that the vortexes sent them in different times. Sayrus informs him that a device present on the island known as temporal vortex engine (TVE) will allow them to return back to the present and inform the rest of the planet of an impending storm that will ravage the planet. Dylan makes his way to a cave where the TVE is located and collects it.

Along Dylan's way back he discovers Sabrina Sayrus, however then a large Spinosaurus known as Spike begins to hunt them. Dylan fights Spike, allowing Sabrina to return with the TVE back at their campsite. Dylan evades Spike and returns back to camp, however the TVE's battery supplies are too aged to work. Sabrina proposes the idea of scavenging batterys from a downed drone that was sent in from another time period. Dylan goes to the downed drone, acquires the batteries and makes his way back.

Once back they setup the TVE but Spike discovers the campsite and attacks it, causing Dylan to flinch and accidently knock over the TVE's power, stalling their time to escape. Dylan holds back Spike, allowing the TVE to properly be setup. Once its ready Dr. James Sayrus and Rock volunteer to stay and hold against Spike as to not interfere with the portal. Dylan and Sabrina enter the portal, sending them back to the present. They both land on a deserted island, with no way to contact or make it back to civilization they lose hope. Just then a vortex storm opens up and drops off an old submarine with a presumably dead Spike attached to it, Rock and Dr Sayrus reveal themselves to rescue them. Later on, aboard the sub, Spike reawakens, leaving the crews fates unknown.

Trivia[]

  • In a possible reference, Craig shares the hairstyle and role with Joseph Turok, of Turok fame.
  • The gun and knife holsters are not present on Dylan's ps2 and Xbox 360/ps3 in game model. Oddly, they are on him on the wii version only.
